Kohnle Heat Treating Systems Private Limited In the year 1961, the KOHNLE GmbH was founded by Mr. Wolfgang KOHNLE. He transferred the ownership to a US based capital venture in 1989 and from their the company was purchased by a small group of local and private shareholders. It remained established on the same location of Birkenfeld / Pforzheim - in the south of Germany situated at northern outbound of the black forest with the expansion in production facilities and product range. For the first 20 years of its existence, KOHNLE mainly focused on the jewelry and watch industry. With these two industries, KOHNLE also focuses on industry for surgical instruments. At the end of 70's decade, the company introduced a complex and large range of heat treatment instruments to the market. At the same time the industry expands itself in some selected export markets. Further at the end of 80's the portfolio is expanded to the introduction of gas heating systems and increased its available capacity to 1.500 kg/hr, with serving overseas clients as well. In 1999, the company shows up new management and diversified portfolio with various new developments. The central focus is now shifted to heat treating lines that are successfully demanded by automotive industry. Its now the time of looking East and KOHNLE established a subsidiary in India in coordination with a local company. The new company is located at Chennai and is named as KOHNLE HEAT TREATING SYSTEMS Pvt. Ltd.. The company is now able to cater the requirements of quality heat treatment lines in comparatively lower prices with the same German Designs and that too outside Europe. The work process in KOHNLE is environment friendly. The heat treatment lines are highly energy efficient that not only save environment but also save the running cost of machines. The development, design, detail, final factory assembly and testing of all equipment is till now taken care by the company's headquarter at Birkenfeld, Germany with a efficient team of 40 engineers and employees. In the year 2009, KOHNLE is certified under the norms of ISO 9001:2008, after being auditioned for the production of heat treatment lines. After the successfully auditing of KOHNLE in the year 2009 for producing heat treatment lines KOHNLE is certified under the terms of ISO 9001:2008.
