KGUN 9 is the ABC affiliate in Tucson. We deliver all the breaking news happening in our community to make Tucson a better, safer place to work, live, and play. Our award-winning staff broadcasts nearly 20 hours of programming each week. KGUN currently offers the following programs: Good Morning Tucson, 4 -7 a.m., The Morning Blend, 11 a.m., and newscasts at 5, 6, 9 & 10 p.m. The community lies at the heart of all that we do and we are passionate about delivering relevant content across all platforms. Tucson gets 350 days of sunshine annually - more than any other U.S. city. Businessweek magazine named Tucson one of the best places to raise kids and Money Magazine ranked Tucson No. 5 on its list of best cities for millennials. Industries and services providers experiencing tremendous growth include space exploration, aerospace and defense, and biotechnology. Tucson also is home to KWBA, a CW affiliate also owned by Scripps. The station airs CW programming along with a one-hour extension of the KGUN morning newscast, called Good Morning Tucson Extra, 7 – 8 a.m. KGUN also produces a live, weeknight-only 9 p.m. newscast for KWBA.
