“KAZGEOCOSMOS” JSC was founded in 2003 to implement modern remote sensing and geoinformation technologies required for prompt and effective problem solution of the oil and gas and other sectors of the Kazakhstan economics. Accordingly, the areas of business are defined: -Aerospace monitoring of the national natural resources condition; -Processing and integrated interpretation of the Earth Remote Sensing data (RS) for solution of production and- prognostic problems of the land and subsurface use; -Forecasting, detection and modeling of emergency growth; -Creation of industry-based and regional geoinformation systems (GIS) to control and manage land resources; -Creation and renewal of high precision specialized land-use and underground recources maps. The well qualified personnel of the company consists of more than 50 persons, among them 2 Doctors of Science, 3 Candidates of Science, magisters and bachelors.
