The Justice & Soul Foundation was created to address the vocational needs of sex trafficked survivors. Our purpose is to create educational opportunities in cosmetology (hair, skin and nails) for young women who have been freed from the trafficking nightmare. With the help of volunteer stylist, skin therapist and nail artist, along with qualified therapist to assist in overcoming the effects of trauma, we help restore the participants to a new life of freedom and hope. We are in the process of building a school and salon in Cambodia, so that the students have a built in career path and we have a sustainable model that over time will rely on very little Foundation support. While we are beginning in Cambodia, our goal is to take this model to other countries in need.
We also intend to support young American teens caught up in the world of teen trafficking (estimated at over 100,000) by creating scholarship programs for the survivors who are freed from their pimps.
