The Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Sustainability Initiative (JEDSI) at the Yale School of the Environment seeks to examine the relationship between social inequalities, lived experiences, and environmental outcomes.
To this end, JEDSI currently focuses on eight primary areas of research, teaching, and practice:
