Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (JSPM) was established in 1998 with the objective of creating centers of excellence for education in the field of Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, Management, and Computers. The purpose behind starting JSPM group of educational institutions was to make higher education available to all who are desirous of achieving it. The management envisions that a social transformation can be brought about through the medium of dynamic education, JSPM is thus an institution of higher education with social commitment. JSPM has 22 years of rich experience in the field of school education and higher education. The trust has the academic treasury with sic campus, 26 professional education institutes and six schools. The higher education institutes are in the domains of polytechnic, engineering, pharmacy and management. Many of the institutes of the trust are accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore and National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi. JSPM believes in imparting relevant curriculum combined with innovative teaching methodologies across multiple disciplines in all its institutes, thus creating a vibrant learning experience for all students. The students are infused with an attitude of leading and winning without compromising on the moral and ethical values, nurturing them into holistically developed individuals. The JSPM University Act has been issued on 6th January 2023 and the Department of Higher and Technical Education has issued the notification for the establishment of University from 16th January 2023. The University is in operation from 28th February 2023 (Admissions From the Academic Year 2023-24). The University shall offer academic programs through the school of Science & Engineering, School of Commerce & Management, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Liberal Arts and School of Skills & Professional Development.
