The Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP) is a nation-wide initiative for the development and provision of comprehensive services for the early detection and screening of breast cancer for all women in Jordan for the purpose of reducing morbidity and mortality from breast cancer by early detection and screening; and, shifting the current state of diagnosis of breast cancer from its late stages (III- IV), to diagnosing breast cancer at its earlier stages (0-II) where the disease is most curable, survival rates are highest, and treatment costs are lowest.
