John Burroughs School

Founded in 1923, John Burroughs School is a coeducational, college-preparatory day school for grades 7-12. Burroughs brings the liberal arts model to secondary education. It offers a core curriculum that supports a broad base of knowledge and skills in the humanities; STEM; the arts; athletics, health and wellness; global awareness and cultural competency; and service and sustainability. This broad base of knowledge provides the opportunity for students to explore possibilities and in the process discover their passions. Graduates enter leading colleges throughout the country. Our 47.5 acre campus is located in St. Louis, Missouri.
