In early 2012 a group of 4 professionals who had previously worked together on social-change related projects decided, after an amusing dinner, to start a project together. A mix of mutual esteem, good wine, passion for quality work gave birth to the JoBonobo Project.
Who We Are
Originally four. Coming from different backgrounds: ICT, Communication, Intercultural Mediation and Trade. None coming directly from traditional tourism, all convinced of the need to change the perspective of Italian Touristic Market.
After 8 years we have launched different innovative startups in the field of Food and Lands and we have discovered we are in reality a startup studio.
Now 10+, and looking for more enthusiastic people.
Our Philosophy
We started with a clear idea: Italian Tourism must change. Either evolution or revolution, there are many things to work on to get to our aim: to improve the touristic experience of travelers coming to Italy. This can be done in a number of ways: by giving technological tools to enjoy a more fruitful travel; by giving the chance to experience in depth what makes unique the Italian territory in all its corners (and not only the usual suspects); by training professionals to better assist travelers; by digging into innovative ideas that can provide a new terrific touristic experience; by boosting the traditional means of communication with new technology.

We have extended our vision to food innovation, and we are working everyday to create something that will solve problems and thus, change the world.
