JFS PROGRAMS: COUNSELING Help children and adults of all ages and diverse needs achieve stable and emotionally healthy lives. Expert therapists with excellent listening, communication, and clinical skills. EDUCATION Classes and workshops to help community members gain insight and information related to job searches, parenting skills, financial decision-making, and support services for cancer patients/survivors/caretakers. COMMUNITY SUPPORT Transitions can be difficult. When our neighbors need help, JFS answers with food assistance, transition to employment, and support for the unique challenges of surviving the Holocaust. ABOUT JFS: Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Greater Hartford provides counseling, education, and community support to help people of all ages and religions advance along the path toward emotional well-being, self-reliance, more positive relationships, and a renewed sense of possibility.
