John Patrick “JP” Haran was a generous and kind soul. He was taken from this earth earlier than he should have. In high school, JP wore number 23 on our football team. He earned the nickname Jetpack 23 because he would joke about being as fast as a jet pack and you know he had the number 23. Everyone loved JP and he was accepting of all people. Life has a way of taking the good from us while they are young. When he passed away, I wanted to do something on his behalf to give back. We formed a nonprofit to not only honor him but also help those who have sacrificed for us. We name it Jetpack23 Foundation in his honor. The JetPack23 foundation created the American Freedom Fighters as a outreach program to vets in need of legal aid. Our goal is to help those vets most vulnerable and provide legal assistance to both currently and formerly enlisted. Most of us know someone who has chosen to answer the call when their country needed them, and we thank them for their bravery. Unfortunately, sometimes reintegrating back into civilian life can be difficult for many reasons. We are here for those Veterans who need any legal counsel and advising while back home or. With your help, we aim to provide help to as many Veterans as we can reach. We thank every one of our soldiers for their great sacrifice of choosing to fight for our freedom, and we thank everyone who helps us achieve our dream!
