Jerry Brothers Industries was founded in the early 1900s by members of the Jerry family. The business remained in the Jerry family until the 1970s, and its primary focus was conveyor belting for the tobacco industry. Since the 1980s, JBI has diversified its customer base while continuing to foster its tobacco industry relationships, and in 1996, opened a branch in Charlotte, North Carolina. Today, JBI is a leader in lightweight conveyor belt distribution, providing solutions to its bakery, cookie and cracker, meat, salad, tobacco, printing and paper, box and distribution center customers.
