In no time, JNIL expanded to multiple businesses including NSSL Private Limited, Neco Heavy Engineering and Casting Limited and Neco Defence System Limited. NECO established a 1,000,000 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant at Sitara Growth Centre, Raipur, in 1996, located on 1600 acres of land in the reputed Steel belt of the country.
