Youth Line is an NGO organization providing free emotional support for youth in Lithuania, established in 1991 by Dr. of Psychology Kristina Ona Polukordiene as a public initiative.
In more than 30 years, the organization has grown and to this day more than 350 volunteers are providing emotional support in 3 branches all over Lithuania: Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda cities.
Since 1996 Youth Line has been a member of the Lithuanian Association for Emotional Support Services and a member of Befrienders Worldwide, an international organization uniting voluntary emotional support services. Youth Line is an NGO operating based on the support of private donors, businesses, and the state.

◾ Youth Line's mission is volunteers, who listen, hear and encourage others to talk. Our volunteers encourage young people to share their burdens and choose life.
◾ The most important values of the Youth Line are responsibility, equality and human connection.
Youth Line provides free and anonymous emotional support 24/7 by phone and 6 pm-12 pm every day by online chat. Emotional support is frequently the case of suicide prevention. Also, Youth Line takes care of emotional health education in schools and organizes public social initiatives encouraging people to take care of their emotional health.
