The Jane Goodall Institute (Singapore) (JGIS) is the Singapore chapter of the Jane Goodall Institute, an organization started by Dr. Jane to build on her work in protecting primates and their habitats, and making the world a better place for all living things.
Vision: People living in harmony with nature and animals.
Mission: Inspire, educate and activate individuals to make a better world for animals, people and the environment.
JGIS has three key focus areas: Roots & Shoots programme for youth empowerment, Primates programme for the conservation of local macaques and langurs, and Public Outreach programme for raising awareness of wildlife and nature conservation amongst Singapore residents.
