About the owner: Jeremy Vidrine- Owner/Operator of J Vidrine Directional Drilling & Consulting LLC. In South Central Louisiana there is a small community called Villle Platte (French- Flat City) with a population of 7,430 hardworking resourceful souls and where my family and I call home. Here the bountiful farmlands meet bayous and swamp, if there was ever a place where nature provides all that you need and you’re willing to work for it, this is the place. It is from these roots that the no-nonsense hard work ethic took hold and serves me to this day. My oilfield career began in 1991, quickly advancing to a lead driller in the Gulf of Mexico outer shelf. The 11 years spent in the Gulf exposed me to every imaginable situation that energy exploration has to offer successful and not. Following the path to more stable land based energy exploration I began my official Directional Drilling Career, operating throughout the south (OK, TX, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY & VA) and as of the last 9 years my focus has been in the Marcellus, Utica & CBM in (WV, OH, PA & NY). JVDDC seeks to do business with the Independent Operator, and we have surrounded ourselves with like-minded individuals and service providers (i.e. Well Planners, Machinists, DD Contractors and Businessmen). Working for several Independent and larger directional companies over the years has made me appreciate the drive that an Independent can offer. The efficiencies that can be realized working at the individual level and avoiding the bureaucratic short falls of large companies just can’t be surpassed in my mind.
