The Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance, JPIAMR, coordinates national public funding to support transnational AMR research. 29 member nations work together. JPIAMR leads the One Health AMR Partnership within Horizon Europe, the research framework program of the European Commission. To date JPIAMR has supported 137 research projects and networks, with funding of approximately 125 million Euro. The JPIAMR Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda guides research with a One Health approach in six areas: Therapeutics, diagnostics, surveillance, transmission, environment and interventions. More than half of G20 nations are members. JPIAMR is adding members continuously. The Secretariat of JPIAMR is hosted by the Swedish Research Council in Stockholm, Sweden.
