IwamotoScott Architecture is an award winning architecture and design firm established by Lisa Iwamoto and Craig Scott. Based in San Francisco, California, the firm has gained national and international recognition for innovative design with projects around the globe. Committed to pursuing architecture as a form of applied design research, IwamotoScott proceeds from the belief that each project can achieve a unique design synthesis. IwamotoScott’s work has been shown in over fifty exhibitions including the National Design Triennial at Smithsonian/Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, Vitra Design Museum/Art Center College of Design, the Guggenheim Museum, MoMA/PS1, Southern California Institute of Architecture, Artists Space Gallery, and the work is represented in the permanent collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. IwamotoScott’s work has been included in over one hundred thirty books, journals and newspapers; and Lisa and Craig have lectured on the work of the firm at over seventy professional, academic, and arts institutions worldwide.
