Founded in Rome on September 19th, 1966 by the will of the Advocate Ernesto Corigliano,the ITALIAN SOCCER COACHES ASSOCIATION (A.I.A.C.) was transferred to Genoa and then,in 1972, by the then President Dr. Fulvio Bernardini, to the present location at the Technical Centre FIGC of Coverciano in Florence.
A.I.A.C. promotes all those initiatives that could be useful for professional and amateur coaches, with particular attention to training, to professional refreshment and education and to values of sport, and actively participates in all levels of territorial and institutional football world organization both establishing agreements with trade associations, with federations and sports Clubs, than directly promoting interaction and sharing among professionals coaches.
A.I.A.C. MISSION is composed of several objectives, with particular attention to the fundamental and irreplaceable role of protection of the sports, professional, moral and economic interests of Italian football coaches.
A.I.A.C. achieves its goals through an active and systematic presence in all the national, regional and local organization of the Italian Football Association (FIGC), thereby arming its power of representation and of effective legislation and contractual protection of category represented.
