IsoSHRED Fitness, LLC is the manufacturer of IsoCoreX U.S. patent #8821357. IsoSHRED was founded by Michael Reid in April 2011 for the purpose of selling what was then called Push Up Dumbbells, now IsoCoreX.
IsoSHRED Fitness plans to incrementally take IsoCoreX to different market segments within the fitness industry and gain a national presence. The timing for IsoCoreX could not be better. The popularity of functional fitness and body weight exercise has been and continues to be a growing trend. IsoCoreX embodies these aspects of fitness entirely.
IsoCoreX is hand held exercise equipment for use on the floor or ground. It moves in any direction freely thus Omnidirectional. The purpose of IsoCorex is to greatly enhance exercises done while the user is in a prone position. Users have the choice of unlimited movements for upper body exercises. The IsoCoreX is shaped like a dumbbell however does not function the same and is not meant for lifting. The unique function of IsoCoreX is for body weight upper body exercises. Users grasp an IsoCoreX in each hand and displace their weight on to them while in a prone position facing the floor or ground. The challenge for the user is to control motion while doing push up type or abdominal roll-out type exercise. Users also have the choice of manipulating the IsoCoreX in different directions across the floor to target different muscle groups in different ways. The key ingredient to the Omnidirectional movement of IsoCoreX is the use of four heavy duty omnidirectional wheels. Each wheel is rated for approx. 200lbs, there are 4 wheels per set giving them a weight rating of approx. 800lbs. The low cost of the IsoCoreX is attractive for home users, while the heavy build quality is great for commercial gyms and training facilities.
