Iran Currency Exchange (or ICE in short) is an exchange dedicated to providing market infrastructure and services including pre-trade and post-trade operations to its participants which are currency exchanges operating in Iran. ICE was established on 19st May 2019 in Tehran, Iran and it is regulated by the central bank of Islamic Republic of Iran.
The company’s main purpose is to offer its participants the most transparent and fair market possible by public disclosure of quotes and exchange rates on the company’s website in a manner which removes information asymmetry and leaving price discovery to the auction process which determines the proper price with the use of supply and demand.
ICE looks to further organize the foreign currency market in Iran and introduce more innovative financial instruments in order to satisfy the evolving needs of the general public.
