The International Law Center is a non-profit civil association whose purpose is the development of International Law. Its main activity is, therefore, the production of legal works and the holding of events that allow for the debate of current issues on the international scene. Thus, the aim is to establish a dialogue between academia and civil society and, in a broader perspective, to promote ethics, peace, citizenship, human rights and the universal values enshrined in International Law and fundamental to the realization of a community fairer and more balanced international CEDIN and its partners held important international events such as Congresses and Colloquiums. In addition, the Center prepared several in-depth studies in thematic areas such as international jurisdictions and international terrorism. These works resulted in the launching of several books. Finally, in a pioneering event in Brazil, CEDIN, with several partners, is the organizer of the Winter Course on International Law, an event that establishes Brazil as one of the world poles of discussion on International Law. Another point that should be highlighted is the Educational CEDIN. Founded in 2005 with the aim of promoting, facilitating and disseminating advanced study and research in the fields of Law and International Relations. Its mission is, therefore, to contribute to the ethical and solidary formation of competent professionals, through the production and dissemination of knowledge and the articulation of teaching, research and extension.
