Internal Ways™ is a small business, founded to educate others in the signs and symptoms of suicidal behaviors and to help those at risk of suicide. Internal Ways™ provides QPR Suicide Prevention Training. Learning QPR, means "Questioning, Persuading, and Referring those in crisis to help -- 3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Training can be scheduled for private organizations, private family sessions and open public sessions.
In addition to QPR, Internal Ways™ serves as a "Community Coordinator" to facilitate community sponsored suicide prevention events. Working with different public groups such as Town Administrators, Police Departments, Superintendent of Schools, Fire Departments, Senior Centers and Church/Religious Organizations, Internal Ways™ brings suicide prevention resources together to provide communities with informative suicide prevention events.
Internal Ways™ founder openly shares her suicide attempt and recovery story with those who have a desire to educate others for suicide prevention. She has been a guest speaker at private and public functions, serving both religious organizations and state/town events. Currently serving as a member of the Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention (MCSP), a member of the American Association of Suicidology (AAS) and as a United Methodist Certified Lay Speaker (NEUMC), it is her desire to help others.
