InterManager is the international trade association for the shipmanagement industry.
Our members are in-house or third party ship managers, crew managers or related organisations and businesses from throughout the shipping industry.Collectively, InterManager members' are involved in the management of almost 5,000 ships and responsible for some 250,000 seafarers.
InterManager represents its members through international organisations, such as the European Union, International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and The Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO). InterManager is committed to improving transparency and governance in the shipping world and ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the shipmanagement sector.
InterManagers' Objectives:
1. To federate and serve the needs of all companies involved in the management and crewing of ships.
2. To encourage the highest standards of ship operations, through innovation, creativity and the sharing of knowledge
3. To provide a forum for discussion on matters of common interest.
4. To be the common voice of ship managers in international forums and with international regulators.
5. To advocate efficiency, quality and ethics in ship management.
6. To promote the image of shipping and the career of seafaring.
