The Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism (ISP) at Texas Tech University serves as the first and oldest organized Center on Charles S. Peirce's work in Pragmaticism, a philosophy rooted in logic, language, and communication. The ISP uses Peirce's ideologies to conduct research and courses that promote interdisciplinary methods of study. The ISP offers several courses for both undergraduates and graduates, as well as a cross disciplinary lab, the Christine Ladd-Franklin Cognition lab, and a cross-disciplinary colloquium for doctoral and masters students.
