Welcome to the Institute for Innovation Management (IIM) at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München. Our institute explores the dynamics of change by investigating how new solutions are created, managed, and adopted. Our research follows a process of building and empirically testing conceptual frameworks and models that advance theory and generate clear implications for managers, consumers, policy makers, and other stakeholders. Through teaching across varied audiences, we aim to disseminate cumulative and emerging knowledge in the domain of innovation and equip our learners with the necessary tools to effectively engage in innovation management.
