Institute For Future Cities

The Institute for Future Cities focuses on improving the quality of human life in cities across the world.The Institute for Future Cities is the University’s centre for research and teaching that integrates and catalyses expertise across sectors and multiple disciplines for city challenges and opportunities. Our aim is to enable current and future cities to be understood in new ways. We address major challenges and inform decisions that make cities across the world better places to live, work, learn and invest. We do this through research and partnerships with commercial organisations, local and national governments, from all subject areas and from across the world. With growing funding, research and commercial opportunities we welcome new partnerships with research institutions, commercial organisations governments and cities in the UK and internationally.
