Inspecta Vision

Inspecta has developed computer vision systems based on color images processing and self-learning methods. Patterns of natural products are more complex than those of the standard ones and, therefore, its proper inspection requires intelligent learning methods. For many years, the control of these products has been made manually, resulting in repetitive and monotonous operations, being expensive and not very agile. With the aim of improving not only the efficiency but also the reliability of inspection processes of natural products, Inspecta has developed different solutions based on color images processing and self-learning methods. While the company has improved its technology, it has expanded its scope beyond the industrial processes, from retail to the healthcare sector, including the field of advertising and smart cities. The company bases its innovation on collaboration with researchers from both the UAB and the University of Barcelona. On the other hand, understanding that being an innovative company it is forced to control very well all the steps inside the value chain to reach the final customer, Inspecta has an important network of partners, which allows transforming technology into final products for each sector.
