Insectech Corp specializes in organic waste management and chitosan production through IoT based farming of black soldier flies (BSF). We plan to expand the production of chitosan by extracting it from crustacean shells as well. Currently, industrial incinerators are used to manage organic waste. We offer an alternative where the waste is fed to the Black Soldier Flies (BSF), producing high protein feed, organic preservatives and water purifiers. The biotechnology used in the BSF farms and in manufacturing these organic products creates a large number of jobs for people below and above the line of poverty. Our mission is to help eradicate food waste, reduce contamination of toxins in food and water, and eliminate plastic pollution. We envision a world free from pollution and famine, where every individual has access to an environment that is safe for both nature and humanity.
