IHO was formed in 1976 (as Irvine Housing Opportunities, Inc). to assist local government and industry in addressing housing for low to moderate incomes in Irvine, CA. In 1981, IHO developed the first 100% very low-income apartments for seniors and the disabled in Irvine. Today, IHO develops and owns a for seniors, families, and others. IHO is an award-winning, mission-driven 501(c)(3) organization that develops high-quality, catalytic, affordable residential communities with integrated resident services. IHO makes long-term investments in the communities and residents we serve.
