Initiative For National Growth Africa (Special Needs Initiative For Growth)

Initiative for National Growth is a Not for Profit Organisation (NPO) that aims at providing equal opportunities primarily for children and young adults living with special needs in Nigeria and Sub-Sahara Countries. To achieve these, we partner with skilled professionals to provide empowerment training for the caregivers of disabled homes and people living with disabilities in collaboration with the management of institutions and foundations, and parents or guardians of children living with special needs in various urban and rural local government areas. They are trained in the necessary skills of providing care, emotional intelligence, physiotherapy, career development and entrepreneurship that is required for the mental and physical well being of people living with disabilities. After their training, we provide them access to work opportunities to enable them gain equal opportunities to decent work and job skills in the society. We also partner with experienced career counselors to provide educational needs, learning tools and career talks towards re-integrating children and young adults who live with intellectual and physical challenges into the society. We promote social awareness for children with mental and physical skills, facility management support and access to financial and non-financial donations. We promote inclusion, awareness and economic empowerment for the special needs community through career development, health approaches, mentorship and capacity building.
