Indonesian Future Leaders (IFL) is a non-profit youth-led organisation which focuses its activity on youth empowerment and social voluntarism. We believe that change happens when people think beyond themselves. Hence, our activities are dedicated for developing the quality and the capability of youth in creating social change for a better Indonesia. We envisions to make young generation competent and inspirational to become future leaders.
Some of the examples of our previous works include: Podium.ID, Indonesian Youth Parliament (parlemenmuda.org), School of Volunteers, National Campaign for Millennium Development Goals, and Global Youth Multi-stakeholders Meeting on Post 2015 Development Agenda. These successfully conducted projects have been presented and promoted in national and international level, among others, at Microsoft Innovative Student (MIS) Forum in Singapore 2011, World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) in Qatar 2013, Council of Europe (CoE) in Strasbourg, France 2014, and many others.
Since established in 2009, we have served 22,000+ direct beneficiaries, engaged 80,000+ young people, with the support of 800+ volunteers in 33 provinces in Indonesia. We have been recognized as one of leading youth movements in Indonesia by numerous media and awarded Indonesia MDGs Award by the Office of the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in 2012.
