ImageUnion resurrects the public TV program Image Union, which was a one-of-a-kind independent program that aired weekly in Chicago for 30 years and became the go-to place for video and film outside the mainstream. The new revival of ImageUnion brings a global audience a vast collection of films and videos that changes every day. We highlight new videos daily and share newly curated shows every week, programmed by our talented team of curators. ImageUnion boasts a particularly impressive collection of animation and documentary videos. The two collections are highlighted in Animation Nation and The Dock, both found in the header of our website. In addition to our video collection, ImageUnion also presents a virtual channel that provides a 24/7 stream of action-packed, visually stimulating, crazy, funny, thought-provoking, and flat-out weird videos and programs from filmmakers and video artists across the country and the globe. On Saturdays, ImageUnion hosts a Saturday Night Special live from the Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago.
