The Ikhala Impact platform is a tool aiding in the digital monitoring, reporting, validation and verification (D-MRVV) of projects aimed at countering climate change and supporting a regenerative future. With current climate funding options often inaccessible or unsuitable for smaller projects in Southern Africa, we aim to simplify processes and ensure equity.
Ikhala strives to create credible MRVV policies for impact projects, defining 'credible' as lawful, legitimate, and lasting. Lawful means abiding by relevant laws, standards, and regulations; legitimacy refers to the verifiability and authenticity of a project's impact; and lasting signifies long-term, sustained positive outcomes.
The Ikhala platform employs Impact Labels for visual representation of a project's traceability, social, and environmental impact. Enhanced storytelling techniques transform these labels into engaging narratives, enabling a deeper understanding of the project's impact.
