IkamvaYouth enables disadvantaged South African youth to pull themselves and each other out of poverty through education. Through peer-to-peer tutoring, career guidance, mentoring, computer literacy and access to diverse information, experiences and opportunities, learners significantly improve their grades and access education and/or employment after they matriculate. Many learners become volunteers once they get into university, ensuring a virtuous cycle of positive role models, supportive hands-up and an effective by-youth, for-youth solution to South Africa's education crisis.
