Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center is a Catholic non-profit in Atlanta that offers silent retreats, non-profit meeting space, and spiritual direction for people of multiple faiths. Retreats are offered as half-day, single-day, weekend, week-long or 30-day experiences. We welcome inquiries about customizing a retreat for personal goals or a gathering for private groups.
Located north of I-285 in Sandy Springs, Georgia, Ignatius House is a destination for all seasons. The 20-acre facility is surrounded by indigenous forest overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Expansive grounds include 1.5 miles of trail, a waterfall, natural creeks, and quiet resting places. Nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting space is available for non-profit groups that need to recharge for important missions ahead.
Given the frenzied pace of modern life, it is increasingly hard to escape daily routines and noise for sacred, rejuvenating self-reflection. Spiritual retreats at Ignatius House offer space and solitude to focus who your Creator made you to be – not just your best self, but your truest self.
Ignatius House is operated by the Atlanta Jesuit Community, part of the global Society of Jesus. Central to the work of Ignatius House are these precepts:
- walking with the excluded
- care for our common home
- spiritual growth
