The typical vanilla recruitment service in 1995 did not go far enough to support the needs of businesses in the law firm sector. ITS was founded in 1995 to raise the bar in the supply of IT talent to law firms, with a mission to be experts in legal technology, deliver innovative resourcing solutions and develop a tailored recruitment service by listening to what the top 100 law firms in the UK were telling us. We were the first recruitment company to specialise solely in Legal Technology. We have a customer focused attitude to job seekers, taking the time to fully understand their needs, discussing how they might develop their skills at their new or existing employer, as well as offering credible interview coaching and career advice. Overall, the point was to take a long-term view of clients and candidates and our relationships with them, building trust in our advice and opinion. Having set the bar for diligence, candidate engagement and knowledge of the sector, winning a Legal Technology Award for customer focus along the way, we have evolved in tandem with our clients over 25 years, agile to their changing needs, developing a variety of innovative resource solutions and partnerships going beyond our role of simply placing individuals in jobs. We are the first in our sector to develop product-based, recruitment and technology solutions, filling the gap between standard recruitment businesses and expensive consultants & systems integrators through our recently-created ITS Works brand.
