INTERSPORT Marketing Services GmbH (IMS) is a corporate venture of INTERSPORT Germany - the world's most successful group of sports retailers. INTERSPORT was founded in Heilbronn in 1956 by 15 far-sighted entrepreneurs. Since 2013 the German and Austrian INTERSPORT together with the markets in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia form a team in the heart of Europe: the five-country association with more than 1,800 shops and a total turnover of 3.53 billion Euros in 2018.
IMS is positioned like a start-up in the INTERSPORT world. At its Berlin and Heilbronn locations, it implements new marketing services for the more than 600 partners of the INTERSPORT Group (including brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma and Under Armour). In addition, IMS is opening up new sources of revenue through innovative marketing concepts for advertising clients and media agencies. IMS thus becomes the "Marketing Partner of Choice" for all marketing measures that address a target group with an affinity for sports.
