IMT Technologies Private Limited The Institute for Micronutrient Technology (IMT) was started in 1967 by a technocrat, late, S.N. Ranade who was a Microbiologist of the 1938 vintage. He is rightfully known as the Father of Micronutrient Technology in India for initiating, introducing and disseminating the concepts of micronutrients in Indian agriculture. Ranade. He has been actively involved in the field of micronutrients and plant nutrition for the last forty years. Under the leadership of Dr S. S. Ranade, IMT group has expanded both geographically and operationally. Besides technical and research development, Dr. Ranade has expanded the activity of the organization by setting up high-quality control standards for micronutrient mixture fertilizers and analytical service standards for the agricultural sector. His visionary leadership, broad subject/market knowledge and extensive hands-on experience has taken the company to newer levels. Today the Institute and its associate companies are authorities in the field of Integrated Nutrient Management in India.
