IMPETUS Solver is a modern software system developed to simulate extreme mechanics. Our main market is weapons effect simulations. Typical processes are blast loading and terminal ballistics. The system solves Newtons’ equations of motion within a non-linear finite element framework and explicit time integration complemented with algorithms to describe material behaviour as well as boundary and load conditions.
