The premier non-profit association representing the financial practitioners in Singapore. Our vision's to be the model industry body, benefiting members/clients & be consistent in fulfilling high ethical standards while embracing a culture of fair dealing. THE VOICE We keep our members informed of new developments, providing a forum to air their views on industry issues. The Strategic & Technical Advisory Response (STAR) team was as formed in 2012 and had successful changes in the FAIR, Balance Scorecard (BSC), Disclosure of Bundled Product (DPI) and much more. ASSOCIATION SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IFPAS' focus is to embed social responsibility in our association and guide our practitioners to embrace environmental efforts and philanthropic attributes whilst upholding our ethical standards. Under the social reach umbrella, IFPAS has branched out on projects such as the Medishield Life, Community Day at Kreta Ayer & voluntary works at other senior centres, IFPAS Love Fund etc. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT We provide our members with continual professional excellence and educational development, as well as promoting ethical and professional standards in the industry. IFPAS continues to be the course provider for Chartered Financial Consultant®/Singapore (ChFC®/S). IFPAS owns and awards Associate Financial Consultant (AFC) based on criteria set out by IFPAS. The IFPAS' education roadmap also extends to Technical Workshops, MasterClass Series, Ethics Course and much more. SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT We believe in serving the community by providing members with a platform to do active social service which utilises their professional skills and knowledge. The MediShield Life Project garnered over more than 700 IFPAS volunteers whom benefited 8,537 residents across 16 GRCs and over 85 CCs. Our inaugural IFPAS All-Star Awards recognized deserving practitioners who excelled professionally and in various social works.
