ICMP represents more than 90% of the world’s published music (more than 100 million works), spanning more than 5,000 recognised genres, from baroque to Brit Pop.
Our industry licenses the world’s music across all formats, including digital audio and audiovisual music streaming services; broadcast TV, radio and film; gaming; physical such as vinyl; print and hard copy songbooks; live and public performances - bringing the work millions of songwriters and composers to billions of music lovers.
Some of our companies were established in the 1700s and are still thriving today. Others are at the forefront of innovation, modern technologies such as A.I., livestreaming, virtual reality and voice activated audio hardware.
