I Am Arla

I AM ARLA is a women’s mental health platform providing a space for trauma healing through conversations and community, supported by a fully vetted practitioner directory of trauma trained experts. Founded in 2021 by Devika Wood, a domestic abuse survivor, she experienced a huge problem that affects 1 in 3 women post trauma, in accessing mental health services and resources to rebuild her life after trauma. Devika went on to become Forbes 30u30 and an ambassador for the United Nations Women org. and joined forces with Co-founder Lydia McCartney, a leading globally recognised Somatic Psychotherapist and Ellen Gowers, Director of Education, to grow the platform and help women around the world, rebuild and rediscover their lives after trauma.
