Hurn Airport Windsocks

The Hurn Airport Windsocks are an invitational Rugby 7s side based in the beautiful South of England. Founded in 2015, the Windsocks were victorious in their inaugural outing, taking home winner's medals from the world-renowned Bournemouth 7s Festival. Since then, the Windsocks have gone from strength to strength and now compete on the RFU's annual 24/Sevens circuit, where in 2019 the side finished in the top 8 at the National Finals. Each summer the Windsocks compete in tournaments across the UK and in 2019, made their debut at the most prestigious 7s competition in the World, Dubai 7s; where the team impressed and made it to the quarter finals. As well as undertaking an intensive 7s schedule through the summer months, the Windsocks enjoy taking their talents and charm to foreign shores at least once each year, ensuring the South of England is represented in impeccable fashion.
