HUNTER DOUGLAS, international group with headquarters in Rotterdam in the Netherlands, specializes in architectural and window decoration products, leader in these segments. More than 100 companies sell their products in 80 countries. Founded in 1919 by Henry Sonnemberg, the HUNTER DOUGLAS worked in the distribution of machines in Dusseldorf (Germany). With the Second World War, Sonnemberg moved to the United States, founding the Douglas Machinery Corporation. In 1945 joined the inventor Joe Hunter. Through a revolutionary process of continuous casting of aluminum, began to develop, manufacture and sell materials for aluminum blinds.
