Hunger Inc. is the proudly Indian hospitality group responsible for some of Mumbai’s most beloved F&B brands – The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro and Bombay Sweet Shop. Through decades of collective experience across the F&B industry, we aim to craft experiences drawing on our shared memories of food, warmth and a true sense of Indian hospitality. Founded in 2014, Hunger Inc. was chosen as one of the 20 Best Start-ups to work for in 2018 by Great Place To Work. Our flagship restaurant, The Bombay Canteen showcases the wealth of India’s cuisine by recreating local, seasonal dishes and reinterpreting age-old Indian culinary traditions in a frequently changing menu. Our next venture, O Pedro, pays homage to the energy of Goa in a menu that brings back the fun of tropical living with simple, sophisticated food and drink, with influences from the state’s Portuguese history. Both restaurants are currently ranked among India's top 10 restaurants by Condé Nast Traveller India. At Bombay Sweet Shop we reinterpret traditional Indian sweets and mithai in a contemporary and fun format. Our fourth and newest brand enthucutlet, is a digital food mag that tells unusual food stories from around India (and sometimes beyond!).
