Humans for Abundance (H4A) is a grassroots model for fighting climate change and poverty. We partner with indigenous families in Ecuador to restore their forests and re-story their identities. H4A provides economic incentives that build a pathway to transition from toxic monoculture, cattle ranching, and deforestation to earning a living as ecological restorers.
Our approach marries local ancestral wisdom with modern sustainability practices to directly tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, and socio-economic challenges. Complemented by our education program that teaches project development, leadership and conflict resolution, our restorers turn degraded lands back into vibrant ecosystems, ensuring food security, economic stability, and cultural survival. They go from feeling powerless to feeling powerful; an incredible healing journey of their hearts, minds, and territories that inspires them to lead the way to healing our planet.
