Hornsby is located in Sydney’s North, just about 25km from Sydney CBD, and is the first major employment hub for people commuting from the Central Coast. Hornsby Shire covers approximately 510 square kilometers, extending from Brooklyn in the north, to Wisemans Ferry and Glenorie/Dural, including 6,000 hectares of public bushland for which Council is responsible.
