Our Honorary Consulate-General commenced operation in Istanbul in March 2002 with jurisdiction throughout Istanbul and its immediate environment. Alongside undertaking standard consular responsibilities, the Consulate General is also the show of the desire of the Sultanate of Oman to enhance and strengthen the bilateral relationship between Oman and Turkey with emphasis on cultural, commercial and tourism affairs. The Sultanate of Oman is ensuring on the strong mutual relations shared with Turkey, which have been increasingly developing in various fields of trade and tourism.It is my hope that our website will provide our visitors with a range of information relating to the Sultanate of Oman and Turkey.
