Honor Flight Chicago

“Thank you” is one of the most powerful statements in the English language. Despite that, many of our nation’s older military veterans who risked their lives for our safety never got that simple acknowledgement when they returned from service. Some waited more than 60 years to hear those two words. At Honor Flight Chicago, “thank you” is at the core of all we do. We recognize the bravery, determination and patriotism of America’s senior war veterans with a one-of-a-kind journey to Washington, D.C., for a day of honor, thanks and inspiration. Since 2008, Honor Flight Chicago has flown more than 7,500 World War II and Korean War era veterans.
